I’m excited to share that I have a new handmade watercolor palette collaboration with Kelly Hollstrom of Letter Sparrow. This palette is all about playing with color and most of all having FUN! Kelly makes gorgeous, artist quality paints that are loaded with pigment and a true joy to use.
This palette has 28 (!) colors, plus 2 XL mixing pans, all in a black Art Toolkit Folio palette.
Colors in this special limited edition palette include:
- Top row hi-chroma rainbow: titanium white, hansa, cosmo, ruby, magenta, ultra violet, ultra blue, phthalo blue, phthalo green, indigo
- Bottom row earth rainbow to line up with top row: titan buff, lemon ochre, pumpkin, violet earth, potter’s, light violet, lavender blue, turquoise, nitroso green, black ochre
- Down the left side, metallics: diamond, pearl shimmer, sparkle gold, bronze shimmer
- Down the right side fluorescent: fluorescent yellow, fluorescent pink, fluorescent red, fluorescent blue
Mixing Charts
Kelly made two mixing charts so that you could see the wide range that the hi-chroma and earth rainbows have — when you add in the metallics and fluorescents the possibilities are truly endless!
Stickers & Sketchbook
I designed two stickers for this collab: one that comes on the palette lid, and another to place on the sketchbook of your choice. Kelly and I will be using this beautiful, handmade sketchbook filled with Arches cold press paper from Lake Michigan Book Press.
